Complete peripherals for two multilayer blow-molding machines

The TIM project & production

  • Feeding of 2 intermediate hoppers from the external silo
    • Pneumatic feeder
    • Installation of a multi-product feeder
  • Dosage & Mixing
    • 2-component dispenser for inner and outer layers
      • Virgin
      • White colorant
    • 3-component dispenser for the middle layer to create a UV barrier
      • Recycled
      • Carbon black
      • Virgin

These two mixtures are then conveyed by flexible mechanical feeder to each blow-moulding hopper.

  • Recycling
    • A recycling line is installed to recover bottoms and collars by pneumatic transfer.
    • A shredder sized to accept production is also in place.
  • Neck dryer
    • During the bottling process, a disinfectant is sprayed onto the bottles to ensure sterilization. As this product is aggressive to steel, it must be dried before being recycled in the crusher.
    • TIM then designed and developed a "neck dryer", fed by pneumatic transfer.
      > From the bottling machine, the necks are spread out on a grid belt and passed through a stream of hot air.
      > Once dried, the necks are transferred to the crusher.
