Transfer operation
The flexible mechanical feeder enables automatic transfer of plastic material from injection molding machines, extrusion and blow molding machines, mixers and any hopper or silo.
All bulk products are transported in sealed circuits, with no dust emissions.

The spiral, an essential element of the transfer, is made from a special spring steel that has been specially treated to improve its strength and flexibility. Driven by a motor, it creates a ring of material that moves inside the tube.
Depending on the profile selected, the spiral conveys a wide variety of products, such as plastic granules, regrinds, PVC powder, additives or various mixes.
Plastics with good flow properties, such as Polyproprylene (PP), the Polyethylene high and low density (HDPE and LDPE), the Polyamide (PA or Nylon), the Polystyrene crystal (PS), the Dry Blend (a mixture of PVC, CACO3 and additives), the Polyvinyl chloride PVC... are easily transported by the flexible screw.
These plastics - often in pellet form - are usually conveyed by a flexible feeder without a devourer.
The use of poorly flowing products often leads to problems with silo extraction, dosing accuracy and feeding during material transfer.
The TRANSITUBE ZFP type devourer-extractor is a flat-bottomed hopper equipped with a special devourer with flexible or semi-rigid blades, particularly suitable for difficult-flowing products such as powders like talcthe calcium carbonate (CACO3), the Coumpounds elastomers (SEBS-type TPE), the Plastic-coated PVC, TIO2the crushed film.... This devourer's extractor allows variable flow rate dosing depending on the application required. Connected to a TRANSITUBE PV series flexible mechanical feeder, the product is then conveyed to the point of discharge.
This unit can be grouped with other feeders to create a multi-product process.
