- Feeding a weighing station with the five products
- Transfer the batches from this weighing station to the two turbo mixers
- At the outlet of the turbo-mixers, fill two buffer silos
- Feed one of the two materials to five extruders from these silos. Not all extruders run on the same material at the same time.
The TIM answer
- Power supply Weighing unit - The weighing unit consists of two hoppers:
- The main hopper (250kg) receives the PVC fed from a floor hopper and the CACO3 fed from a Big-bag emptying station (equipped with a stripper).
- The secondary hopper (15kg) receives the three additives. It is fed by 3 small hoppers.
- Turbo-mixer feeding: At the exit of the weighing unit, 2 intermediate hoppers receive the preparations before they are transferred.
When each turbo-mixer is called, the preparation is transferred to it by a flexible mechanical feeder.
- Turbo-mixer outlet: At each outlet, a flexible mechanical feeder fills a buffer silo to store a certain volume of dry-blend.
- Extruder feed: At the exit of each buffer silo, a line of feeders transfers each dry-blend to the extruder hoppers.
Solenoid valves select the material to be fed to each extruder.
CONTROL: Each workshop is controlled by an electrical cabinet.
The process is managed by a PLC and touch panel.
