Weigh and control your mix with the flexible screw

INFOVRAC was interested in powder transfer and dosing via the flexible screw and contacted TRANSITUBE to find out more.

  • Respect for the product being transported
  • Itch-free dosing
  • Retention of upstream key figures

The flexible screw offers many advantages for batching applications.

Volumetric dosing: improving the quality of finished parts

  • Regular incorporation of products.
  • Accuracy up to +/- 1%, depending on densimetric regularity and even product flowability.
  • No more manual weighing, mixing and
    handling.
  • Dosing units can handle up to 10 different products.
  • Different types of dosing units, from 1 kg/h to 10T/h.

Gravimetric dosing

Gravimetric dosing involves measuring a product by its weight.

This principle avoids errors due to density variations and screw filling variations caused by the castability of certain products.

Batch dosing

A hopper on load cells is common to several products.

When the recipe goes into production, each product is transferred to the weighing hopper by a TRANSITUBE TRANSITUBE spiral feeder (with or without devourer).
The weighing controller controls the controls the filler according to the recipe settings.

The cycle is repeated for all all dispensers present.

Batch mixing can be carried out different ways:
- Directly into the weighing hopper by means of a vertical screw, enabling mixing of all products.
- In a separate mixer under the weighing hopper.

Dosage per weight loss

Each product is continuously dosed by weight loss. Thanks to a system of load cells, each doser operates under the control of the transmitted setting.
